This is how you respond to condescending americans lecturing you on 'human rights' and 'freedom' :

Don't forget: EVERTHING THE WESTERNERS SAID ABOUT HONG KONG, THEY'LL SAY ABOUT KASHMIR:

Freedom loving people around the world must stand with the rule of law and hold to account the hindu nationalist Bharatiya janata party (BJP), which has flagrantly broken it's promises to the people of Kashmir.

Yep!

Too many Indian nationalists are high on their hate towards China and want to cozy up to the US. The west will NEVER be India's friend. They might favor India temporarily to balance China's domination but once India becomes a threat, the west will give us the same treatment that they are giving to China now.

I have said the same thing on this forum on many occasions, but the american 'pravasi mazdoor' H1B uncles find any criticism of the west to be objectionable 'sanghi' opinions.

Speaking of which, where is @sandeep and uncle @Audiophile They should be here, telling us why amreeka is the moral guardian of the world, and why allying with the west is important for india's future, and of course...why China and russia are TERRORIST nations that cannot be trusted. LOL.

Luckily, India is led by people who know better, and will play the US and the china against each other without taking sides.

Get the phuck out bruh! I never said America is the moral guardian of the world. In fact, I despise the fact that America meddles in too many issues around the world instead of solving problems at home. And China IS to blame for starting this pandemic. It is calling spade a spade and there should be repercussions. Do-lund Trump's America is loosing her soul. Don't you see the news?

BTW, I ain't no cheap H1B uncle, homie!! I'm a US citizen, phuck y'all H1B curry smelling mothafokas!! :finger:   :rotfl:

:hysterical::hysterical:...i'm glad someone here can take a joke...

Race riots and institutional inequality IS america's soul, and those features have nothing to do with any political party. And China brought 800 million people out of poverty, you wish India could do the same.

BTW, if you're watching the riots on the news... i hope you renewed your carry permit!!!! Here's the american dream for 'asian-americans'

I am not blind enough to see positive attributes of what China has done. No one is denying that. However, my point about COVID-19 still stays. BTW, America has done a lot of wrong around the world meddling in foreign affairs and should be held accountable. Also they have paid some price for it.

Don't you think its hypocritical for america to criticize india for violating 'religious freedom' and caste/religious based violence when american society effectively categorizes human beings as 'white', 'black', 'asian', and 'hispanic'....the idea of 'race' is not befitting of a modern, developed society. And this will never change.

For example, you'll never see a situation where indians can become 'white' (like the italians or irish did) ---> https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/10/12/opinion/columbus-day-italian-american-racism.html

Granted, america is a great place to live if you're wealthy...and i still wouldnt trade my american citizenship for anything. But our sense of exceptionalism makes no sense, and we are in many ways...very third-world. More so now than before.

Chinese government warns India about trusting the US...

Quote

"The US has long begun to strategically suppress China and support India and has implemented an Indo-Pacific Strategy in recent years. India has gradually formed an illusion of strategic superiority toward China," it said.

"India should not be fooled by the US. Washington is keen on placing a wedge between countries and drawing countries to its own side. But this serves the US' strategic pressure on China, instead of other countries' geopolitical interests," the editorial published on June 5 said.

https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/world/india-china-border-chinese-state-run-daily-says-india-should-not-be-fooled-by-the-us-5368791.html

Indian media has turned completely anti-chinese in recent times. Nothing wrong with that - it's easier to use the chinese as a scapegoat to justify lockdowns and other 'precautionary' measures. It makes for an easy explanation.

But i hope indian 'intellectuals' are smart enough to smell the coffee. Any engagement with the US should be done with china and russia on speed dial.

America didn't have the moral high ground before this happened. There is a large enough body count from its interventions, direct or otherwise. It is the richest and threw money around, hence every country didn't publicly respond to it's posturing. One could easily mock it for decades on the Paris climate agreement despite its emissions even if President Biden joins in come Jan 2021.

It's the technological innovations that are America's biggest contributions to the world.

True, but they're slowly losing their edge there:

GENEVA -- China surpassed the U.S. last year to lead the world in international patent applications for the first time, while telecommunications giant Huawei Technologies topped the list of companies for a third straight year, the World Intellectual Property Organization said Tuesday.

https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Technology/China-overtakes-US-as-leader-in-international-patent-filings

The international balance of power in innovation is shifting. When it comes to world-class patents in important cutting-edge technologies, the United States still occupies the leading position in almost every field. But China is catching up fast or has already overtaken the United States in some areas thanks to its much greater dynamic. This is the central finding of our new study on the development of national and regional portfolios of patents in cutting-edge technologies since 2000.

https://www.chemeurope.com/en/news/1166581/usa-still-patent-superpower.html

If china leads the way in artificial intelligence, then we'll see a very different world. But this [probably] won't be happening in the short to medium-term.

Side-note: Europe is quickly becoming irrelevant. They're being manipulated by both the US and china.

Where is India in all this? Just a digital colony of the US? That would be a shame...

He's frequently met them over the past 5 years.

Not a big deal, so does modi, but let's not assume congress actually cares about the country's interests.

The whole western world sees India as "White man's burden" and are extremely ignorant. If you've ever come across American Christian missionaries in India, you'll understand what i'm talking about. They truly believe that Hindus are "Pagans" and that they are superior.

The British have spread this propaganda that India was full of savages to justify their colonial exploits.

The American right and Christians have recently been targetting Yoga as a "Demonic" practice that's un-christian and Church bodies have started banning it. Go to any western RW publication and you'll see posters railing against H1B's and spouting racism against India.

What India needs to do is to concentrate on strengthening our own capabilities in all sectors instead of blindly allying with the enemy of our enemy.

In the interest of fairness, if india makes it harder for christians to proselytize, then america - as a guardian of puritanical christian values - is well within its rights to reciprocate by calling india a 'demonic' society. This is probably where the world is headed anyway - countries are more inward-looking and trying to limit their interference in other countries.

The enemy of your enemy is your friend. That's diplomacy. And in a world where india is more or less the only 'non-abrahamic' civilization, you need to make unusual, transactional relationships.

Transactional relationships are fine but some people have delusions of being "Natural" allies with the west.

China may not be a superpower (yet) but it certainly acts like one.

They're now releasing a 'human rights report' critiquing America's handling of the COVID-19 crisis: https://www.globaltimes.cn/content/1191271.shtml

They have had extensive coverage of the riots: https://www.globaltimes.cn//special-coverage/Protests-erupt-over-Floyd's-death.html

And article after article of telling Americans and westerners what to think and what to do. Having grown up in a unipolar world where America had the last word on just about everything, i find this fascinating.

India is in no position to behave like this, but it's something to learn from.
