Obviously, when a team with such a rich legacy, and a talent base that's deeper than most other Ranji teams, does well, it bodes well for India. And you would expect sportsmen to take pride in even their club teams, let alone State/Ranji FC teams. Its a benign vanilla statement that's got your panties all twisted up. It is what it is.
