Tbh we'll never know because our stars are too insecure to allow for such a situation.  After all, a slot in the national T20 XI translates directly into massive IPL contract bids.  Why will they risk being pushed out of the T20 squad by hungry new players when they can 'justify' squatting on those spots and keep the $$ flowing?

You can blame our fans as well. They'll throw tantrums and abuse selectors and new players coming in.

Poor innings by Babar Azam and a selfish one. Can't score at 127 sr on this wicket where the runs are very very easy to score. Considering he batted in power play it was typical Rahane type innings. Even the aged Hafeez is scoring over 175 sr on this placid surface.

Zaman and Hafeez have batted well though and hugely responsible for a good position that Pak is in.

The lallu stan AF agreed with this post but when I said the same thing he was making fun of me. His career SR is 128 so his innings today was his standard

Which country are you from, so that I can find an equivalence? Halwa is known in all parts of India so will give your a good example

In t20 this has become an almost standard (but nonwritten)rule.

By 30 balls, you need to be near 50 or cross it.

At least 70-75 by 40 and after that every ball you just try to smash it or get out and let the new batsman hit.
