chandan cud bat also 

Lanka had few things right for longest time - fielding, running btw wkts, multi dimension cricketers

 

Arnold  , de silva, Dilshan,  all cud bowl 

Vaas, Maharoof, Chandana, kulasekra cud bat 

Matthews n jaysuria were all rounders 

 

SL n NZ have always been good with these things hence they always punch above their weight

SL were the best fielding side from Asia during Mahanama's days. There was one player called Ruwan Kalpage in mid 90s. Ajay Jadeja said Kalpage was one of the best fielders he had ever seen. He said Kalpage would pick the ball right in front of toes while running, whereas Indian fielders used to go around the ball to collect it.
