Brutal murder, 7 assailants led by girl's brother Mohd Afroz. Beaten with rods, hacked with machetes...like that Ankit Saxena case 2 years back.

Why does this happen all the time? Award wapsi gang silent, peak tolerance :hatsoff:.

ICF libbus please enlighten us ordinary people. But then the idea is to smear India and dharmics globally, give a platform for India's enemies to gain at our expense...isn't it?

Replace Rahul Rajput with Mohammad Sirajuddin and Mohd Afroz with some random Ram/Shyam...still think this story will be buried? Or that foreign papers wouldn't have a field day? Our enemies are playing as per script and we are confused, hence unable to counter. Dharmics have been getting bullied for centuries, smear/slander campaigns launched against us, unlikely to change.

Most infamous one was Murshidabad beheading where a Hindu labourer and his Muslim wife went to the woman's ancestral village to show their child to relatives. He was taken to a field and beheaded Al Qaeda style by the in-laws. Blackout in Telegraph, I think MJ Akbar was editor then and they were focusing on a caste related honour killing case but completely ignored this news. Some local sharia court passed the judgement and that is why it was such a big thing then. We still have sharia courts in Bengal, but who cares? There are many districts in India where administration has no control.

Ok there is a wiki page:

2008 Murshidabad murder

The 2008 Murshibad murder was the beheading of Shailendra Prasad, a Hindu labourer from Bihar for marrying Munira Bibi a Muslim girl from West Bengal, on the orders of a shalishi court in Murshidabad on 14 July 2008.[1][2][3][4][5] Munira Bibi, the widow of the victim, eventually regretted her ill-fated visit to her parental home where she lost her husband.[6]

Background[edit]

Shailendra Prasad, a native of Bihar, worked as a labourer in Mumbai, where Munira worked as a maid servant. They fell in love and married in 2001. Munira came from an orthodox village, where a shalishi court had fined her father Ansari Sheikh a sum of two hundred rupees for sending his daughter to work in Mumbai.[1]

Trial and execution[edit]

The couple visited Lakshmanpur again in July 2006, this time with their ten-month-old son. As on the previous occasion, Shailendra had to assume the identity of Munna Sheikh to escape the wrath of the orthodox villagers. His father-in-law Ansari Sheikh, however, noticed that he did not offer his Friday prayers, nor responded spontaneously to greetings.[3] On 14 July, Ansari Sheikh overheard a muttering from Shailendra during a religious ritual, that was a dead giveaway of his religion and informed the village elders his suspicion in the afternoon. A shalishi court was convened on the grounds of the village primary school that evening by the village elders. At the court, Shailendra was forcibly disrobed to check his religious identity and when he was found uncircumcised he was beaten up severely. Twenty-two political and religious leaders of the shalishi court, along with Ansari Sheikh, pronounced Shailendra guilty of marrying a Muslim girl and awarded him the death sentence. His hands and feet were tied up. He was gagged and taken to a nearby jute field, where his throat was slit by four executioners.

As Shailendra Prasad went missing from the night of 14 July, his wife Munira Bibi believed that he had fled to Mumbai. Her father had kept everything from her mother and brother. On 27 July, when Munira learned of her husband's fate from other villagers she accompanied her mother and brother to the Berhampore police station to lodge a formal complaint. The police had already discovered the beheaded body of an unidentified man inside a gunny bag lying in the jute fields ten days before on 17 July. On 28 July, the police raided the village and arrested three persons who presided over the shalishi. The rest of the villagers who took part in the shalishi and Ansari Sheikh fled the village. On 1 August, a large police force led by the additional[clarification needed] Superintendent of Police Debashis Bej raided the village of Lakshmanpur and detained 26 villagers for interrogation.

Home Secretary Ashok Mohan Chakrabarti promised to take the strictest possible action against the culprits.

ICF libbus staying away from uncomfortable threads as is tradition, no wrong committed according to them. But if a cattle thief is killed, there will be 100 page long threads about evil Mudi, evil BJP/RSS, fascism, evil intolerant Hindus etc. Not making national news as well, so common this and along expected lines. Pity BJP doesn't do more to highlight these instances of intolerance. How is this any different from what happens in Pakistan? Modi was quick to condemn lynching of that Jharkhandi cattle thief, voice missing here. That is how a narrative is built to demonize a religion, culture, civilization, people.....from UN dais to streets of London and NY. One side is always the aggressor, the other side eternal victim no matter what happens.

Om Shanti Rahul Rajput

Om Shanti Lakshmipathy

This napunsak qaum has failed you, this country has failed you.

The Delhi administration is more bothered about it not appearing like a communal incident.

How is it not communal when the basis of the brutality was communal?

Family dispute they are calling it, did the same with murders of Ankit Saxena and Dhruv Tyagi. The names of victims and perpetrators decide which case is communal and which is family dispute aka 'secular crime', libbus may not like it but that is how things are in India. Contrast this with Dadri lynching, will this get 0.0000000001% of the outrage Ikhlaq's lynching garnered? I mean Kejri even visited the victim's house which was in UP!!!!! In India one community gets the status of victimhood no matter what, that too on every damn platform under the Sun. Anyway waiting, let us see how many intellectuals return their awards or whether Naseeruddin, Aamir Khan find India safe enough.

When Hindus/Sikhs/Jains/Buddhits are stoned to death, mob lynced, or butchered, Then same Administration takes immediate steps to make it look a issue other then Communal. When somehow even a criminal caught in acts dies Same Administration and media starts giving communal colour to it. Rahul Ji, Dawoodian Stars and entire opposition does declares it communal, does Jantar Mantar candle march, incites rioting via tweets, and Global media starts putting Godhra, Ram Mandir,Kashmir and so on in foot notes to contextualize it and declares Hindus are fanatics.

That's the sole reason they will never come to power no matter how incompetent modi govern will be on economic front but incident like this exposes hypocrisy of opposition.  These libus and opposition thinks that media propganda can change people heart but people are not that dumb you know.
