Bowlers overdoing the slow ones

Few days ago it was Khaleel and now today Nagarkoti.

Its great to vary the pace and use slow ball as a surprise delivery but you shouldn’t be trying to bowl slow-one ball after ball. In crucial stages and against top quality batsmen, you will eventually get found out.  Nagarkoti and both Khaleel have bowled well in this IPl, however, during a lot of overs, they have started bowling too many slow ones. Got to stick with your strengths.

This is also how typically a bowler starts to slow down in general and then starts to lose his pace consistency since now he is way too much focused on variations and slow ones.

Kohli was unable to pick NKs slower one. But his technique is so good that even if it was slower one, his bat was still in line connecting the ball and striking it towards square leg/cows corner instead of hitting it in covers and midwicket area.

Slower ones look very good as long as batsman cant pick it. But if batsman can pick it, You shouldnt bowl it else he will hit you out of ground. NKs first ball, Devil picked it, he allmost missed it because he was new to crease. NK should have immediately realised that and should have gone back to stock deliveries.

With pace over 140, not bowling one bouncer per over is crime.
