A draw in the kiwis Pakistan game would result in both sides getting 20 points each.

Making our road to the WTC final much easier than it was before.

ENG have to win every match in SL and IND to qualify if NZ wins both matches against PAK and their BD series gets canceled.

Does anyone think the ENG series is going to be played in IND?  I don’t.  Cheats at ICC are going to move it to UAE to give ENG every edge they can.

NZ aren't scheduled to play BD. They have just 1 more match left in WTC, the 2nd test vs PAK.

Every team has to play 6 series for 720 points.

Not really!

Because of COVID, the % points won out of points contested will be the criteria for the final not total points out of 720.

NZ are now at 360/540 (66.67%).

Points wise above England and Australia.

Indian team now has to win atleast one more test in Australia.

You need to read up on the revised rules to the WTC before posting in this thread again.

I knew their BD series was at least postponed but thought there was a slim chance it might go back on the schedule.  I have been figuring NZ's fate based on just the two PAK matches though.

NZ BD series hasn't been called off yet. let the confirmation come first. NZ would be free till June anyway, so it won't be difficult to arrange a Two week tour to Bangaldesh in March/April.

Nope ICC has scrapped that one.  Only one test left I think.  NZ commies were talking about that

We need Pakistan to win second test for India to reach WTC finals???

No we just need to whitewash England now. If we win next two tests however, Aussies chances will be in jeopardy.. they must win the series in SA in that situation

What happens if that India England series is not played?

In that case we must win atleast one match of next two. We will tie NZ with points but have better runs/wickets ratio I guess

We don't need to whitewash England if we win either of the next two Australia tests

Take it easy buddy. I'm just as confused as you. Sides like India and england endup playing 6 test series and others get away with playing fewer is just not correct. As it is I searched for any official press released regarding whether the covid affected series were cancelled and i couldn't find any. If you know some post here.

As for your 2nd part of the post, believe me i myself am trying to quit this place for good. No grown ass man should be spending more than a few minutes per day in any forum. Cheers.
