No way I will pick Azam over Rahul in T20s anywhere in the world. In ODIs they have different roles. 

 

They have different roles in odis and Babar is doing well in that Role while Rahul is failing.
Rahul is better in t20is ,no doubt about it

I think your mistake was allowing your expectations to creep - I mean, the writing was on the wall once Rohit was out of the ODI series.  This is not really a surprise - while other teams have started targeting 350+ scores, we are still in the "old school" mind set of target 300/310, and get more if things go well.

this is about odis,Rahul is a great player in t20s.
You are shifting goalposts now,but i understand even you wont be able to defend his odi career

I have seen plenty like this.  Pandya's innings reminds me of Robin Singh's futile fighting effort against Aus in 1999 WC.

He just needs to learn how to find gaps , he has been playing as power player who doesnt need to. Now when he ll have to bat up he ll learn it
