Simply supporting one's own community is not the correct thing to do.  If a Muslim sees another Muslim commit a heinous act against a Hindu, they must not support the perpetrator simply because they are from the same community.  And vice versa.

Blind allegiance to community - tribalism - is at the root of many of these problems.  If we stopped and thought of the criminal and the victim as humans rather than humans-of-a-particular-kind, we'd be in a better place.  At some point, biraadari should not matter.

Though blind allegiance is not good but it is better than blind ignorance. I dont see much fuss or hysteria among Indian liberals on this case just because the guy is Sharma. Imagine his name was Junaid or Akhlaq, liberal media would go bonkers...award wapasi gang would run riot. I dont see any tweet from Tapasee Pannu, Richa Chadda, Anurag Kashyap etc etc on this case....all hindus by the way. NDTV is doing perepheral coverage on this topic...almost blocking it out.

I ofcourse dont expect any tweet from Arfa Khanum Sherwani or Rana Ayyub but dont you think Indian liberal hindus should hold their collar today and say 'Hey *****, you are very quick to tweet on other issues...but why quiet on this case?'

The day when Indian liberals finally get balls to ask such questions...let me know. I can write an essay on cowardice, prejudice and gulaami mindset of liberal hindus but it will fall on deaf ears...so what is the point.

I totally agree.  They have blind allegiance to their tribe, and think that bringing up injustices committed by a minority will be construed as being "anti-minority."

So you believe them now? Why don’t you believe when they said they were attacked by Khalistanis in Lal Qila? Police usually try to put down communal tensions, the area had riots in 2020, it is the media and SM that should show the mirror to the society . That bastardized CM goes to visit whenever a M thief is lynched, but keeps mum. He is the reason for all the trouble.

First of all I am not saying I believe them . All i am saying is police under HM is propagating this version , so better ask question to Centre Government.

Secondly i don't have problem in believing if they are attacked by khalistani's as there are few anti national elements in farm protests

Don't call hindus selfish, India is a competitive country where nobody has the time to care about their community, everyone are in the rat race for survival.

They don’t say a thing too, has Modi or Shah ever spoken for Ankit Sharma or Prashant Poojary or any BJP spokie talked about Hindu lynchings? Let alone libtards and Muslim leaders. That is the crux of the argument. May be they think that being in government,  If they start speaking about Hindu lynchings , then there will be widespread violent riots . They let the sangh speak for them

Don't pin your hopes on them.  Self-interest, votes, power is paramount to them.

Do you know who he is? Owner of Sudarshan TV, a RW channel. What power does he have anyway? He is not a politician

Owner of a TV channel an influential political proxy or powerbroker with likely future political ambitions.  Am sorry, I have no patience for people who throw their weight around and very publicly "help" victims.  And it is sad to see the fawning masses.

Murder is wrong.  Cold-blooded murder is appalling.  No matter the reason.  No matter the group the victim or the perpetrator belongs to.  If leaders really care, they would show up (with no fanfare) even if a Hindu killed a Hindu, even if it was for birthday cake.

I think you have never met true RSS guys to understand what and how they think. There is a reason why Chacha Nehuru and his bloodline is fighting them.

It is about a message, nobody visits the Hindu victim's house. He is vocal for Hindus and that acts as a balancing act. Did you feel the same way when Arvind Kejriwal visited Akhlaq or Junaid's house. Every opposition leader went to their houses , including Priyanka Gandhi. Him going to the victim's house is unprecedented. That's why I don't do any neutral monkey-balancing on this. Yes, murder is bad, I don't rejoice even if Muslim is a victim, but I don't like the way media generalizes and demonizes the the majority when the victim is a minority.

RSS guys would gladly give up their lives for the nation.

That's exactly why Muslims, Communists target them with fake propaganda.

Muslims actually compare them with ISIS!

Of course, I would (if there was a separate ICF thread about it and I had clicked on it at a time when I was relatively free to argue with strangers).

It's the same shyte.  Kejri is a bloody narcissist (like all politicians), wants his vote-bank and will do whatever to get them.

As for PG, less said the better.  Khaandaani BS.

Oh yes, I have.  The ones I have met swear that they will make India a Hindu nation where everyone must fall in line with their version of Dharmic principles.  Their allegiance was not to just India, but to a Hindu-India.  According to them, anything foreign, including foreign science and technology, must be condemned and just spoils our nation.  Maybe they are not true RSS then?
