Azharuddin was elegant only when playing the wristy flicks or wristy on drives.

 

And modern batsmen are far more creative than Lara.

Tendulkar's batting looks most artistic to me among all batsmen I have ever seen. And it is not modern art but classic art.

So true. I watched the Tendulkar Lee videos many times. Never tire of watching those drives.

Among the options, I found Jayawardene to be very elegant. Also loved watching Carl Hooper bat. Didn't enjoy when these guys made runs against India, but unfortunately they did make quite a lot of runs against India
