To each its own Now ppl who were affected in wave 1 has complained of some complications so it has long term affects My cousin a gym freak had COVID like 7 months back. He says he still has a persisting head ache at the back of his head. Occupital neurolgia can cause that pain. Our nerves are not the same once the virus attacked us. Bit like other known viruses.

They don't report what the local newspapers like DainikBhaskar reports. That is a problem with Urban Indian journalism. Ground reality is out there for people to access, not all read only GodiMedia, pretty sure many aint even studying that Local newspaper are best for ground reports actually and even local reporters And ground realities are out their on SM now Edited May 18, 2021 by Ankit_sharma03

Reading stories where some docters are pointing out use of to much steroid by docters are affecting immune system and hence leading to deaths

There are multiple strain. Also one's own health condition plays a role.

By the time they find out it is already too late. Not sure which one is. I only have basic info. There is one more former colleague of mine who lost both her father in law/mother in law in the space of 2 days. Probably in their 60s? Not sure. There is a good chance they had some conditions. COVID accelerates to an extent, a probable death in 10 years time will become 10 days death Biggest killer this time is high sugar levels. vvvslaxman 1

Total, utter, diabolical, shameful and pitiful failure of Indian Society. Including Modi. We have manufacturing capacity, we knew about the disease, we knew how it spreads and we are SO incompetent to count even the dead properly. I hope even my worst enemy does not get into the fate you are in man. My Condolences. dial_100 and coffee_rules 2

Unlike FB stories evidence they have hard money at play. Positivity rate is declining. This is a fact. I agree that some states are declining and others are yet to reach their peak. No reporting is not low numbers. It is just starting in rural areas and not surprising . In the last year ,I have passed through UP 3-4 times and even during the first wave, almost no one was wearing masks or practicing social distancing . It was like they were on a suicide mission or complete denial . You can't save yourself if you are not even going to give your body a chance to protect it. The people in villages have been extremely irresponsible. People in states like Uttarakhand were extremely careful in first wave. Villagers did not let family members into the village till they quarantined themselves outside the village. But in the second wave, people were so lax. Wedding happened without restriction. Kumbh has taken a big toll on the state. Cities like haridwar, rishikesh and kotdwar are really in bad state. Now the villages are effected badly and the numbers from villages never count because their is no testing . Whole villages are suffering from ' viral ' fever because no one wants to call it covid.
