Tbh this ball sure looked quicker than the WC 2003 one...  This was rapid.  Might be at least 160kph. 

Kuldeep though needs to first start breaching 150kph.  Although I'll be happy if he keeps bowling above 145k consistently.  He has natural bounce which will trouble batters in ODIs & Tests.

Top batsmen invariably talk about the genuine quick bowlers as their nightmares/ or don't want to face category.

 

We see Butler here.  Pietersen and Hayden said the other day that they would much rather face a good line and length medium pacer than a really quick pacer. They even talked about almost getting heart attacks while facing such guys.

 

Lara said the same last year.

 

Bowlers who can create such massive discomfort in the minds of batsmen are priceless.

It's heartening to see, yesterday Simon Doull was talking in the post-match discussion on cricbuzz that how the IPL has inspired Indian bowlers to bowl fast and get noticed.
