Thing is,we are so calculated and the intent to take a punt by having bowlers like these to make things happen has always been missing,it may backfire sometimes for eg edges may fly through and result in flurry of boundaries minute that happens we impatiently pass judgements on them,we are happy to play safe be it in batting or bowling

This...  Main reason we haven't won a ICC trophy for years.  Mindset to play safe cricket has hurt us.  We have wasted years on mediocrity of players like Boobie...  Next will be Chahar or Thakur.

Sundar 40 off just 14 balls with two 6s off pacers.

If he can keep on batting lime this then he can easily be pur 2nd spinner.

But he is just a part time spinner.

Used but still shouldn't be considered as a specialist spinner.

With Kul-Cha losing form, spinners who can take wickets outside Asia are almost absent.

I would prefer 2 among Jadeja, Sundar and Axar at 6 and 7 ... and 4 pacers for the T20 WC in Australia.

A pace attack of Bumrah, Prasidh, Siraj and Deepak, as bowling all-rounder at 8, can be quite handy in Australia.

Sanju was collecting almost every ball of Prasidh over his chest with finger's pointing upwards.  It was awesome to watch.  Prasidh is one to watch out for as far as WT20 goes.

In the name of batting cushion we will play two of Boobie,Harshal,Chahar in Australia, mark this post

No matter they give 37/over,but few egded boundaries of Prasidh and co. is blasphemous

On current form, Bhuvi is better than Chahar. And by some margin. Australian decks are mostly flat and Chahar will be hit badly there.

Chahar gets in for hitting ability at 8.

Bhuvi is a No.9 and can't hit big shots.

What a lineup brahh. Excited as *.

Not to mention shami is still gold. He can play every alternate game and stat pad and win us games with gold rest in between. Want shami to focus purely on tests.

In a 4 test series, he can easily play 2 or 3 with rest.

What insane depth. Best bowling attack for tests.

In LOI there is some work to be done but we are getting there quick. Top 3 in loi too.

I think it will still be ideal if one among Siraj & Prasidh get to be in playing XI.  I think they will still like to have Shami again who also looked in great rhythm ij his last game &,  can be handy on pacy surfaces like MCG & Perth.

Prasidh must play on the bouncy surfaces of Australia.  He may be unplayable.

Shami will most likely be selected but his death bowling worries me in T20s.

Ravi Shastri talking about Prasidh Krishna

"   Ravi Shastri, who has now returned to the commentary box for Star Sports, gushed on about Krishna who made his ODI debut last year when Shastri was still India’s head coach.

“He was relentless. If you’re bowling at lengths, the hard lengths, when you beat the bat and get the edges, you expect some odd ball (that may go loose). But he was mean, he gave nothing,” Shastri said on Star Sports’ post-match show.

“He made sure the batsmen have their driving licenses in their pockets. He said ‘I don’t want to see your driving licenses, I don’t want to give you anything on the bat. I’m going to ping you on the backfoot and get you out’.”

Ravi Shastri was particularly impressed with how Krishna got rid of Kane Williamson. The seamer came closer to the stumps, hitting the back of length area, a hint of swing in the batter forcing Williamson to play with a slightly open face and the Kiwi nicked it; the extra bounce that Krishna gets because of his height is threatening, Shastri reckons.

“Look at the way he got Williamson out. (Usually, bowlers would go) Top of off-stump, get the nick. He knew there was bounce there, and he said ‘I’ll take that nick to a foot-and-a-half, top of off-stump’. He’s got the height, he’s got the wrist and he’s got the seam coming out high. Good to see an Indian banging it in against a world-class player,” Ravi Shastri explained.

Prasidh Krishna finished with excellent bowling figures of 2/16 from his 4 overs, one of which was a wicket maiden. "

Thampi I feel has credentials to, ahead of the overrated duo of nagarkoti and mavi, the rest are top notch with proven track record and high skillset. Don't forget Yash dayal, prithviraj Yarra, khaleel.
