That’s the only big difference I think. Names might obviously be different culture to culture

Maybe North India had Islamic influence to name it that way. The reason these were named like this because these players are from an army, Indian armies used to have horses, camel, elephants, foot soldiers, king and minister is the most powerful as he designed strategies. Queens never had any role in wars. Maybe in the west/colonial rule, queen was the head of the govt and king was just a ceremonial figure Edited July 21, 2021 by coffee_rules
