Same XI. Ideally would have replaced one of the 3 senior batsmen but they escaped cos of rain yesterday. 

 

Rotate the bowlers, they should be good to go at Lord's but in T3 I won't mind a couple of changes, just to keep them fresh: physically, mentally. If there is one lesson from BG 2020-21 it is this. No bowler should play all 5 tests, except maybe Jadeja since we are looking at him as a batting AR these days.

That batting looks very weak on paper. 

 

Can easily go from 186/2 to 220 all out.

Ishant in place of Shami, rest remains same. 

We need to rotate our two senior bowlers (Shami and Ishant). 

Pujara will be playing for his spot.

It is not fair to Ashwin who is in the form of his life, but unfortunately the same team seems to be the ideal combination.
