If you have good fast bowlers, should always look to bowl first in England. High chances of skittling them cheaply like first test.

Agreed, especially when you have the fast bowling resources to do so.

actually second inning miracle of shami, bumrah and brain fade of root has masked all incompetency shown by this nincompoop in both batting and captaincy. Now he has been rightly put in place.

Exactly, if not for the miracle innings of Shami and Bumrah we would have likely lost the Test as there would not have been scoreboard pressure.

we would have lost first test as well. this team doesn't do well when chasing target under pressure.

No way, we were losing that test.  Only 150 was required on last day. Pressure was on England, not us. Pitch too wasn't doing as much.

What if pujara, kohli and rahane got out in 2 overs there? Can't trust the trio

Pujara had already started his innings very well.

Next day is a fresh start and you know these 3 can collapse anytime

Pitch not a factor. Overhead conditions matter, it was gloomy that day. And Broad looked set to deliver that one crazy spell he does every series.

Non-existent MO

Rohit throwing his wicket after well played 30s, 40s

Pant out of sorts

Jaddu who can't bat with tail

Indian tail

India's chasing record under Loli

10/10 times we were losing that test.

doesn't matter. all the reasons that gollum listed suffice as reasons why we would have lost. people overrate pitch and underrate mental makeup and technical ability, both of which our middle order is lacking.
