Cricbuzz has learnt that the Indian players have written to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) expressing apprehension about playing the Old Trafford match, with less than three hours remaining for the start of the Test.

The exact nature, tone and tenor of their representation are not known, but the Indian players are believed to have expressed concerns and postponement of the Test match is an option being explored.

imo kohli and shastri have robbed the playing public of watching the Indian team to potentially go for the win and win the series. Indian fans and as well as English fans will be rightly pissed off.
