Yes.. He looks super fit too and has a great clean action. Enjoyed his bowling.

To be honest his physical shape looks above average at best. I thought he would look a lot stronger through the core especially.

Ive seen young Indian kids in Australia with stronger bodies than him.

However, with the right guidance, nutrition and training he could be a weapon. The fact he can generate that pace with his body shape is sensational.

He is from Jammu. Abdul Samad too.

Abdul Samad is from Rajouri...  Not proper Jammu but in Jammu division.  He is not from Kashmir.

This guy Umran Malik lives in Jammu but he is shown from Srinagar.

Yes this is true. So many strong Indian kids in Australia these days.

Remember malik is from a poor family. Poor upbringing. He will build his physique as he grows older now that he has had some exposure.

He needs to fill out more. Height may be an issue? Not sure how tall be is but as long as he is atleast shamis height he should be fine.

Should he be in the India A team for the SA tour in November or is it too early?

Umran should play all India A matches in all formats.

If a 150 kph pacer comes good, the benefits to Team India can be immense.

No point delaying his development process in the name of being fair to trundlers with little potential.

He isn't short. At least 6 feet tall.

Yes.

The best thing is, he is just 21.

We should not make him toil in domestic cricket for 6 years.

Malik should make it to Team India within 18 to 24 months ... and this means he has to play as many FC matches and A-team matches as possible.

Skills we have noticed from.Malik in his first IPL match.

.... High pace

.... A good yorker which was accurate

.... A couple of very hostile and well directed bouncers

.... Getting the ball to lift from just short of a length on quite a few occasions

.... Decent line, did not spray the ball.

.... Some seam movement on occasions.

Not bad at all.

I would like to see a bit more movement in the next match.

You don't need a lot of movement at this pace, just in right areas. Little bit of movement will do for him.

Nothing wrong with his run-up. Very refined action and run-up. One of the best I have seen from an Indian fast bowler.

To me it felt something was a miss, I just saw few deliveries. He has potential to be world class as you cannot  teach speed.
