We don't face them much in KOs for some reason. So post 2011 you can't say much either way, just an FYI we beat them just 2 times out of 10 before 2011 IIRC in all world cups. So if you think beating them in group stages is easy - it isn't

I think that's one of their strengths! Loli talks of his "friendship" with Williamson and whatnot. Teams underestimate the Kiwis as a friendly, happy go-lucky bunch and slip up against them. Even the Lankans had a similar habit, reaching the finals in 2007, 2011 world cups. Won a T20 WC as well, and reached the semifinals quite a few times.

ind aus is fairly even with ind having slight superiority. even in world cups we alternate beating each other.

Prior to India tour of Aus 2021 Australia was supposed to qualify for final of WTC final..  MCG test loss in the end knocked them out. 

2016 T20 WC group game was a virtual QF KO.. 

Compared to other teams we do have a wood over them.  Even Aussie fans admit it.

When Butler treated them like an associate side Nasser Hussain was chatting with Shane Watson. Shane watson told that Australia never plays as a team in bilateral. They only play their main team in world T20.  Nasser hussaind was like "Why don't they play" I won't say patronizing or condescending. There was teeny tiny smugness in his tone.  Epic KLPD for all the English commies. Despite giving a hammering to their arch rivals they are in the finals.
