Rohit has such poor footwork and brainless shots in the first few overs that he looks like a walking wicket in T20s . Babar plays a lot more ground shots unlike Rohit and his dependability on one end gives a chance to Rizwan to start hitting Babar is 8 years younger than Rohit. Age Fitness hand eye coordination everything matters. Everyone is not ABD
cricketfan28 Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Fakhar should open .. both of them are regular inductees of tuk tuk sarma academy.
cricketfan28 Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Babar's slow batting is equally responsible for the loss ,additional 20 runs would have been an advantage.

Bad fielding and brainless death bowling got to us. They needed 88 off 40 odd balls. Not every day will wade hit that many on 17 balls.

I think lost Pakistan more to due lack of their depth in their bowling especially in death overs. Why high? High means 8.5+ when final RR was 8.7. Why not score at 7.5+ RPO which is bare minimum openers should do if no wickets are lost. That would have given them 10 runs extra.

Because in Ind’s case, their favorites (questionable if such batsmen should be favorites) do that, while Pak did the wrong thing of course PS not to forget the old bad habit of cheering singles from 85 to 100! Nobody choses to score at lower runrate, they might just not able to do it on that particular innings.I don't think slow start hindered their final total.

But that is the excuse given by power hitters’ fans’ club , Pant and PAndya fans that they don’t get time because of slow starters hog the balls up front. That doubling of score at 12/30 over mark is an exception not a norm.
Bigg Brother Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 (edited) It was more like how Indian openers went with in 2016 wt20 SF. Rahane scoring 35 balls 40 and then saying that final total was 15 more than what we wanted. Edited November 13, 2021 by Bigg Brother Lord 1
