At his age normally players would have played over 20 matches. He has played only 3 that too part of second string side. He was picked as a stop gap arrangement. He might prove us wrong. But i am not sure whether he even get into playing XI.

Should be playing every single LOI match going forward

Once he is in the squad they are not going to ask him to sit out. This is why selectors should have never given them the option. Besides Ruturaj is a way better opener in this format in current form. Even before this season his record in list A was decent. Ideally Ruturaj should open.

KL will be more in tune with Dravid if coach wants that to happen .
