Apparently Chetan Sharma said Bishnoi & Shahrukh were considered..  I hope they get their debut in SL T20Is..

Axar Jaddu injured...  Sai Kishore too raw & Bishnoi next in line after Chahal...  That seems to be case.  I'd have definitely picked Bishnoi over Chahal..  Saffers suck at picking googlies

Dhawan 5 matches 56 runs average 11.50 in Vijay hazare. How the heck he came in to the side? I thought it was partly based on Vijay hazare. Also leaving out Sharukh khan is criminal. Best time to experiment him. 8 matches 253 runs 42 avge 186.02 strike rate. Rishi dhawan's name popping up in discussion is not at all surprising. He was the second highest run getter in the Vijay Hazare. Also second highest wicket taker. His team won the final. It is only natural they discussed about him.

Being raw cannot be a reason for not trying out youngsters. Looks like the priority again is to win the bilateral series - same mistake that earlier TM made. Will bite us back later. Was hoping for a new LOI template under Dravid, early days but the direction seems similar.

we all don't think alike :) Some selector probably brought his name up looking at the stat. He is not going to care about how he didn't make into our side for yeas.
