These players have pushed the game to an unbelievable level.

Except the part where that waste of human space lied to play in the AO :whack3:

Amazing. The quality of the final was poor, but the length, the drama, what was on the line. Nadal managed to come back from 2 sets down in his worst slam, as an underdog, missing for months due to injury.

Nadal really showed his aggression and variety here. He knew he could not be defensive and grind from the baseline so he resorted to different tactics and IQ. But Medvedev really should have won this, he had everything he needed to win. This choke will haunt him for a long time.

Don't get why people so bothered about him lying instead of talking about him who was the favorite not playing and an undeserving guy winning.

With #1 not playing because of some stupid rule, this win isn't really something to be celebrated that Highly.

Regardless, it is truly a shot in the arm for Nadal fans!

You mean lying & trying to cheat? Did you forget about the (every) part of what he did was illegal?

Yeah just like that arsehole who lies for a habit! He can be the most "grand slam" winner but he'll always be human scum :hmpf:

By the way, what is wrong with crowds in Australia. Is it vaccine or lockdown side effects ? Outright disgraceful behaviour.

I didn’t watch the whole match, but they did cheer Nadal more , because of the historical win. What was disgraceful?

How are you so sure he’d win if he was in? This thread is to rejoice his historical victory against all odds. He had a surgery couple of months ago and he wasn’t even sure he’ll participate and also come back fro two sets down to win the tournament. Keep your Nole rudaali posts to that Novak thread. It was all his fault that he didn’t comply the rules of a country. If Nadal would have won against Nole in the final , that would have been more special, definitely. But, as a fan, this was very fulfilling.

Say that again. I like all three and won’t mind anybody winning as they are special humans with amazing ability that I don’t have. But Nadal winning this and Nole losing in USOpen last year to Medvedev in USOpen was the highlight of recent existence. Coming from a fan, that kind of bias is jais/kosher/halal
