ravishingravi Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Opportunities galore. As a strong critic of Modi years on economic front, I am liking the recent turn in policies and hiring of some very independent competent minds. The economy survey was also quite revealing. It was very well done and will take some time to dissect. On lighter note. On more serious note.
coffee_rules Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Modest increase in Nifty and Sensex. Opposition as always says not a peoples’ bdget, no change in income tax slabs. Election year ban dher, lots of apps for farmers esp for MSP and rice procurement
diga Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 no freebies or doles for election going states either
mishra Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 In 2022, finanacial Imapct of Covid will be reflected in budget all over the world. Taxes are going to rise globally without change in tax slabs. Considering that, I think GoI has done well. What I am unhappy is, Is GoI doing enough to curtail imposts from China.Bilateral trade Fdeficit has jumped 1.5 times yOY. If Modi and his Mitrogn can pull out this stunt, For me he will be best PM of all time. ash 1
Yoda-esque Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 But but I heard Ravish speak and he is saying it's disaster...
ravishingravi Posted February 1, 2022 Author Posted February 1, 2022 Actually this is one of the better budgets. Budget should be boring and non event. Govt is favoring consistency. Sign of maturing economy.

I6MTW Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Why 30% tax on crypto currency and other digital economy? That seems ridiculous, considering other countries do not impose this much.
ravishingravi Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 Finally India seems to be getting it right when it comes to economics. 9.2% growth in 2022 driven by base effect and 8.8% in 2023. If we sustain 8%, we should cross 4 trillion by end of 2024. In my view, if we gave a stable govt, we should cross $ 10 trillion easily by 2030. dial_100 1
