As a match-winner Ashwin definitely has had a bigger impact than Kohli and probably our biggest match-winner at home.

Ashwin had more impact in Asian conditions than even Sachin.

True. Most of our batsmen could score in India and we were never really dependent on SRT in India. Likes of Sidhu, Azhar, Manjrekar, Kambli etc. could very well score at home. Tendulkar was the only one who could bat away from home in 90s.

Moves the ball both ways and keeps it on the stumps. Not a lot of tricks in his bag tho. Probably great on pitches that offer some movement. Will get thrashed on flat tracks.

Both have been amazing but Ashwin's ahead of Jadeja at home. But the balance they provided to the team at home is the reason for our success at home over the last decade.

This duo has made us invincible at home/SC/WI. Even ATG WI, Aus never dominated like this at home.

 

We don't have to do anything special overseas to qualify to wtc finals.

Jadeja is what likes of Sam Curran or Kyle Jamieson are in their conditions, i.e. 2 players in one. This is why India has been so difficult to beat at home as they have likes of Ashwin, Jadeja, Axar and Sundar who can bowl as well as bat in Indian conditions. Adds depth till 8 and plenty of bowling options.
