In Aus ill even take shreyas iyer over him

The line up has someone like Sundar, who can bat up as well ... The squad has Agarwal/Samson & Pant too so whoever is batting well gets, ...

Player that i wud avoid

  1. Shami
  2. Jadeja
  3. Axar (better in subcontient)

  6. Tripathi
  7. Shaw
  8. Venky iyer (Even if pandya is injured still no)
  9. Prasidh (Currently suited for ODI n test )
  10. Umesh (As seen in IPL once wkts lost the spice, performance went down and he proves to be extremely costly in middle n death)
  11. Bhuvi (in current form , unless he improves drastically)

Rest atleast 26 wud be on my radar to go, with time only can shortlist (injuries wud shortlist a few by then)

Why would you avoid Shaw? Think his cameo at the top is exactly what we need.

cameo problem nhin survival problem hai , Aus men wo length bhar bhar ke milegi ...isse double milegi

Good list except the highlighted ones.

Krunal won't survive with bat in Australian conditions and his bowling will be of no use too on Australian fast and bouncy wickets. I will take Jadeja easily over him, his batting last time in Australia was great. Preferably, my picks would be Yuzi, Kuldeep, Jadeja and Sundar among spinners. Bishnoi with an outside chance depending on how many can I have in squad.

Can't pick Gill in a team that has Rohit, Rahul and Kohli, not even in the squad.

Kishan only there because of lack of left handers in top 6. Samson is a meek character and nervy player who had failed in all the chances given to him. Can't go with him in such a major tournament.

his bowling is the actually suited for those wkts thats why , he has a Match winning performance every overseas tour incl australia

On the contrary his bowling isnt suited on slow wkts, one of the reason he did well for MI at wankhade.........had he played a chepauk wont have been successful

Both Krunal n rahul like pacy wkts and mishra n Axar slow wkts. Batting i know in his case is quite crap infact one of the worst players of pace but his bowling will win games n he has been a clutch player.

the 1st criteria is the guy who can stand on the those pitches, it will be a 180 Wc

U need guys who can play pace, bounce, short ball n hard length 1st ................no point taking guy who cant even survive , hitting comes only when u can survive

He got those wickets in Sydney which is a typical subcontinent conditions wicket. Even Jadeja would take wickets on those wickets. When krunal played vs England in that ODI series in Ahmedabad on a fast and pacy wicket, he was taken to cleaners all the way. Just not cut for Australian wickets especially at international level.

Picking Rahul Chahar in the squad will be digging a hole once again like last year. They should better stay away from that.

JAdeja hasnt done anything till date

Krunal isnt a ODI bowler or player - baat hi khatam. His bowling relies only on variation that cant work in ODI

Shaw can survive it and will give an aggressive start at the top. His only challenge will be the incoming deliveries upfront with the new ball. Too good a player to bother about pace or bounce( most Australian wickets are gonna be flat anyways in T20s). Also, before Shaw, there is Rohit and Rahul and Kohli who are proven performers there so no need to worry about that. Just pick Shaw for what he is bringing on the table.

Jadeja won India the first t20 match they played vs Aus in Aus last time around.

no he cant he struggles to control short ball, not that he cant play but struggles to control add to that incoming ball issue and not converting start

Too much negative for a guy who is not even making a big score , cameo also come very few

Match Chahal ne jitaya tha...  Dudeja could have really screwed us with the ball.  Dudeja was mercilessly beaten in ODI series as well.

and the number of times he has fcked up is too much, Wc after Wc

HE sufffers from same prob as shami in t20, lack of variation n predictablilty ......neways he ll go so his discussion is pointless

Chahal got the score to bowl from his effort.

Chahal was also trash in ODI series IIRC

SR matters in T20. Quick cameo in start can set it up nicely.

for that survival matters- he currently has 2 big obstacles for Australian conditions and that only makes inconsitency worse. Someone like Roy for those conditions doesnt have any obstacle so i know those innings will be far more in % as compare to shaw

S/r To tab jab u score some runs
