A growing list of No.11’s is a concern.

We are getting  some exciting future bowling prospects but keep in mind most of them are no.11’s. Neither do they look like great outfielders. How to balance the side will be an issue as well just like having too many keepers or one dimensional batsmen has been recently.

Top tier future prospects- already playing or in the backups

Prasidh- no 11. Fielding: average.

Umran- no.11??? (Can he slog), fielding: average.

Natarajan- no.11, fielding: just about manageable.

Siraj- no.11, fielding: decent

Avesh Khan- no.11, fielding: poor

Khaleel- no.11, fielding: average.

Kuldeep Sen: ???

Mavi, Nagarkotti were those multi dimensional athletes but alas they are done I guess. I had high hopes for especially Mavi.

Karthik Tyagi I am told is an incredible athlete. I saw an interview with one of RR trainers and he said his athleticism is one of the best in India. High hopes there.

Anyway the solution is not obviously medium pacers who can bat but in the overall scheme of things is this a concern ?

Even in T20 some of the best T20 batters are keepers Samson, Rahul (part time), Pant, Kishen, DK etc. we have 5 keepers in our probables.

Need to keep a track of this too.

Yes Arshdeep. Another No.11 fielding: good.

at such age ur considering them done

Their peers and juniors  like Afridi, Alzarri, Jansen,Naseem Shah and one more wi kid not remembering his name but debuted recently etc  are already playing first X1. I don’t even think these guys play full domestic seasons anymore.

One dimesion problem is just not with bowlers but also with our batters too.

Solution- dont try to create what you dont have and go for better bowlers. But cricket is a game of conditions and every conditions make some bowlers better then other or at par with top bowlers. Even someone like binny will run riot on a damp wkt so use chahar, thakur, patel in right conditions/format where their bowling gets elevated .

Race nhin hai , they just have to hit their best which can even come later. The names u mentioned didnt have injury issues like these 2 and were part of struggling teams so making to a national side was far easy.

Every body is diff and injuries cant be controlled

dont forget our best spinners in the IPL Kul-Cha are also as dimensional as it gets.

Bishnoi is a great fielder though.

Other spinning options are hit or miss players like Sundar (in T20), Krunal Pandya and legendary T20 player Jadeja.

How a T20 game is played changes every few years … Now it is about how teams plan to win so if a team feels it can win with 4 specialist bowlers, it will go with that. If a team feels it can win with 11 players who can bat, it will go with that

A team needs to change if its chosen formula is not working (or becomes out dated where teams have specialist quality bowlers who can bat well too or AR who can bowl like specialist bowlers)

A concern only after looking at optimized 11 (having Rohit & Kohli in and tailoring other 9 around them is not an optimized 11)

None of them are spin options they are utility ones- use them in right conditions n format it ll elevate their game

Krunal is good for t20 overseas

Axar- T20 subcontinet, Test

Jadeja- Test , ODI

Sundar- can be good in all formats but will only be able to hold a spot by improving his batting, bowling is okayish

Itna complicated nahin

Its best not to look at sides like england , work around the best we have.

There are lot of things about our combo that Is one dimensional

even bowling slots from what phase they can bowl in.

Thakur: can only bowl middle overs

Harshal: only middle and a bit risky at death even though has been good.

Chahar: only new ball

Bumrah: middle and death.

Siraj: only new ball again risky at death.

Umran: untested at death and never seen him with new ball.

Nattu: only good at middle/ death

Khaleel: stronger with new ball

Avesh: better at death.

I notice similar pattern with our spinners too.

All those players are older than their stated age. Yes even white boys forge their age. It happens even in Australia. Some kids play under 21 when they are 25 etc. Especially black people lmao. I had a guy in class back when I was in high school who claimed he was 18 but in reality, he was nearing 25. No joke. Legit.

Where's the proof that all of them are older than their stated age?

Have you played sport st competitive level? In Australia it happens. I have played and it's common for older players to fill in for under 21s and even under 18s. Hell I did it for match fitness.

People in India for some reason put white people on a pedestal and act like they are gods and they do no wrong. It's pathetic.

Look at their faces. Shaheen is 22 hahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahhaa

Biggest joke of the year bro.

What's wrong with Shaheen's face.

You do know that people from that area have different facial features?

You can't predict someone's age accurately just by looking at their face, lol.

This is your defense?  Your own eyes?
