I just don’t think he is good as some people are making him into, he is classic bits and pieces player. After Ashwin he has place to play as a bowler and at number 6 or 7.If his bowling stinks he doesn’t have place in the team. It is that simple In no world he is fit to be number 3. Definition of no. 3 has changed now. SA has Mulder at 3, Aus plays Green. If he plays there long enough, we can know if he's suited. There's massive upside if it clicks Gollum 1

The biggest blame for this loss goes to both Jurel and Sundar they both got starts and could not even rotate strike putting pressure on tail . Only one among the three ( Jurel, Sundar and Axar) needed to play.

I would be shocked if he succeeded at number 3.

tweaker Posted November 17, 2025 Posted November 17, 2025 Either of Paddikal or Sai should have been in the squad. They both are selected to deny a spot For Sarfaraz.

Yea lol but he talks about it separately. Bavuma waited to play right under his eye. That is why he looked good. Kela is the only one who does that in our team. But he has this habit of chasing a ball.

First blame goes to Coach for packing team which is so unbalanced , batsmen get out cheap all the time that is why you have multiple batsmen. Sundar and Jurel got starts they let pressure build on them and got out.Bavuma did not that is the difference. Why they got out is simple, they never should have batted at number 3 and 4. They are not number 3 and 4.
tweaker Posted November 23, 2025 Posted November 23, 2025 Sarfaraz should have played the home series against Windies and SA. Gambhir has made a mess filling the Playing 11 with allrounders and wicket keepers
Trichromatic Posted November 23, 2025 Posted November 23, 2025 How are Nitish Reddy and Jurel better batsmen?
