As pointed out on Cricinfo, Iyer has a very specific weakness. It's not exactly the bouncer but the short of length ball on a stumps line at high pace. He gets into ugly positions while trying to counter it and its clear its affecting the mental side of his game as well.

Sanju Samson is in ODI squad in WI, he needs to make sure he scores heavily if gets picked in playing 11.

bishnoi lacks variation and experience so he cant be considered 100% as of now 

Bishnoi is way ahead of pecking order as of now.  His performance on a spinners graveyard & best batting trip in the world at TB makes him easily ahead of others in the line. 

He is getting good experience playing along white ball sides in these games.   Ashwin only has batting depth edge over everyone...  Otherwise both Bishnoi & Kuldeep are better bowlers in T20.

he also has been struggling against quick wrist spinners , he goes all out attacking against them and end up loosing his bat shape throwing his wkt which now has has happened too many times to be ignored

Yeah but I think that is a consequence of him trying to go harder against spinners because he knows the quicks will target his body.

yes one is that he does go harder against them but that problem has been their for few yrs just that opposition cudnt differentiate it with him good against finger spinner. Remember laxman catching this problem when he was doing very well and he pointed it out in a pre show . He does loose his bat grip when he tries to smash 90k+ spinner who take the ball away and wrist spinners get more bounce too which makes it worse

Umran getting dropped is a bad bad move. His pace could have useful in WI. BCCI already giving up on him?  Atleast should have him around the Indian team.

Ashwin is clear brain dead selection.  His fitness is not suitable for T20. One can barely trust his catching & fielding. 

He didn't do anything of note in last WT20 as well... 

Sai Kishore who was with Indian test team for Test match in England & had a good returns for GT in IPl both at PP & middle overs Should have been preferred.

Exactly with no A tours happening.  Really bad move.   WI aren't best players of Extreme pace either. 

I'll be surprised if he even gets picked for Zim.

If problem against both quick and spinner then what he is doing in the playing 11,he should be in NCA for high perfomance camp
