Nah man... Shaheen is streets ahead. Let's be real for once. One can see he does have great talent. He can swing at good pace both in & out. Siraj can't do that. Plus he has decent death bowling skills for LOI. Frustrated 1
Nikhil_cric Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Naseem was impressive in his last outing against Australia. Was consistently bowling good speeds, and targeting either the stumps or just outside off. Best I've seen him bowl. I suspect he's just not as durable to sustain a heavy workload and tweaks to his action alone won't do it. PCB should manage him extremely carefully just like CSA managed Dale. Hasan always bowls decently on such wickets and Shaheen is their best bowler so no surprises there

Iconoclast Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Pak got their line up all wrong. Third pacer Naseem was not needed. Fawad one of our better players of spin should have taken his spot. Also Imam is a known donkey against spin. Shan Masood who was in red hot county form should have played instead.

Be surprised if Pak gets anywhere close to the total. As long as they have that man named babar in there, they can do anything. Babar is their second best bat of all time after miandad. If he was Indian he would be top 10. Edited July 16, 2022 by Jay

Reality is that Pakistan's economy has been on the brink for many years now, and all that Imran managed was to buy some time and stave off default - pretty much no different than what the current set of "government" leaders are trying in Pakistan right now. But you can't really make kheer if all you have is lemons - whether your name is bhutto, sharif, or Imran. You dont get such unprecedented support and love from a guy with little substance and a saviour complex, bro. This I understand - and can accept. That he had an emotional impact on morale etc. But don't give me BS about 'support and love' - Pakistan army has been getting a whole lot of "support and love" for decades (along with a whole lot of illegal personal profits for the top honchos in that ponzi scheme) - what "substance" have they offered to your 'awaam' that garnered that "support and love"? I understand and empathize with greenbros with a lot of love for Imran - I get it - you are sick and tired of decades of crap governance, crap leadership, corrupt idiots, and this guy offers that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - a guy with unimpeachable credentials when it comes to patriotism, 'cleanliness' in terms of corruption, and some 'leadership' although only limited to cricket. I get it - you'd much rather have him lead the country and hope that he can do the job. But trust me - personally I give a rat's ass who ends up leading Pak - whether its Imran, Sharif, Zardari, Bajwa whoever -they are all greenbros as far as I am concerned. And take it from a disinterested objective outsider - Imraan is quite an empty vessel, and seriously flawed as a 'leader'. He has repeated demonstrated the pattern of "ends justify the means" and is completely obsessed with his fantasy of "saving pakistan". He has made bad deals with bad characters to "win" at politics - whether thats corrupt electables, financiers or "neutrals". And after all of that, his 'leadership' has delivered squat diddly. And he showed a penchant for bad decision making, alienating potential allies, and a refusal to put aside his personal pride, ego and enmities for the sake of his country. In fact, some of his behavior not only demonstrates a lack of intellectual depth, but makes one suspect whether he's in command of his mental faculties at all times - whether due to drugs or whatever. Anyway, at the end of the day, my personal belief is that only if Pakistan has viable genuine democracy with civilian leadership, then and only then can we have some 'normalcy' in our part of the world. Because your jernail overlords have a vested interest in perpetuating "dushmani" between Ind-Pak - keeps the billion dollar gravy train flowing for them you see. So again - for greenbros sake, and even India's sake - even if Its Imran fine, but greenbros should get some beginnings of real azaadii from under the slavery of the fake jernails. So good luck with that.

I don't rate any of our overrated batsmen tbh barring pant. One of the worst batting units in the world. In Asia we literally have just pant rohit and maybe kela. Jaddu will do his bit here and there

Nikola Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Babar's career going similar to kohli atm. Started with great odi & t20 average and now improving in tests. Kohli too averaged in 40s for many tests. I guess around 2017/18 his average went over 50.
Nikola Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Wow Babar was gone there. Where is Dharmasena when we need him the most? Norman and Clarke 2
Lone Wolf Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Lol Paxtan imploding here.. Can't handle even basic spin. Also f*** off to BCCI for not scheduling a Test series in SL in our next cycle. Another tour to SA instead. Lord 1
Nikhil_cric Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 There are no conditions/players who could have won that home series for Pakistan vs Australia. Rameez has a better gauge on the limitations of this Pakistani side . On result oriented pitches, Australia would have won 3-0.
Lone Wolf Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Next test they should bench Theekshana who is more of a LOI spinner & include Kamindu Mendis. 3rd spinner doesn't bowls much while Kamindu was promising with the bat vs Aus on debut & can bowl ambidextrous.
