Clarke Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 What's with these ex cricketers and lack of acumen. Tomorrow someone will say add SKY to test squad and make him open in Eng.

That's very true, but since we are stuck with him due to seniority quota, it's better if he bats in the power play than outside of it.

BacktoCricaddict Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Question for experts here: Having watched SKY dominate the IPL and now play well in UAE (albeit against HK), does he have the skillset to succeed similarly in Australia? I am afraid we are going to depend a lot on him, given top-order woes.

Big yes Is he a better aggressive player then them ?? Yes Will he succeed against High pace hard length in Aus ??? Time will tell, although im not sure. He wont struggle like Pandya coz he has a big range Is he a better player of Pace- bounce then Kishen, Hooda, Iyer ??? Yesss So use him where he is best at . Aussies wkts are very good for batting but if someone can bowl at high pace n hit the right areas , it can trouble many of these t20 players Edited September 1, 2022 by Ankit_sharma03 BacktoCricaddict and nevada 2
Moochad Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Ideally he would bat at 3. The best player has to face the most deliveries

Aussie pitches would be good for our boring top 3 as well.. and for SKY as well.. considering the size of the grounds his 360 game will be highly useful.. we will easily go through to semis ( unlike the ridiculous last world cup where pitches and toss mattered most ).. whether we can do well in those last two games is the big question mark for me Edited September 2, 2022 by Vk1 BacktoCricaddict 1
