The list is topped by legendary captain MS Dhoni, who attained 41 wins from 72 matches. Virat ended his T20I captaincy tenure, from early 2017 to late 2021, with 30 victories from 50 games. Rohit, on the other hand, attained his 31st victory as captain in just 37 encounters after the end of proceedings between India-Hong Kong on Wednesday evening.

How many multi- team tournaments we won in the last 5 yrs?

how many captains have we had.

what’s the stat?

Rohit is the best captain we have. Think of him as Mike Brearly (tactical skills)+ MS Dhoni (composure) +  Brian  Mcmillian  (slip catching and catching in general)  + Ab Devillers (when in Rozilla mode)

I would have added Greamme Swann for off spin but he stopped bowling now unfortunately:((

Sure, just saying the % would correct itself

Though doesnt need any stat to see hes better than Kohli

Dravid  deserves some credit too. Win% is for Rohit but mistakes if by Dravid :giggle:

India in Asia beating Asian teams where it is the hot favorite is exactly where we should be looking at :hysterical:

Ind would have won them more often than not no matter who the captain is. It is a low hanging fruit :winky:

I have seen RD coach in IPL and the 2 u-19 finals we lost  good guy but too meek.

Rohit won 5 IPL’s and ICC trophies under different management etc. the common factor. Also very street smart.

yes losses should be shared equally between RD and Ro not wins :p:

Wasn't MI rated as one of the best teams with Pollard, Malinga, Bumrah, SDP, etc.?

We saw what he achieved in IPL 2022 :elefant:

Pandya and Bumrah were rookies. He nurtured them like a parent and made them what they are today. Even Chahal etc credit Rohit’s captaincy to their resurgence :)

lol they are not ICC trophies

Asian cricket council or any cricket board is part of ICC. I think what you want to say is world cups/ tournaments
