I think Hooda now has to bowl more and more. We need two overs from him. He fields as well..

TM knew about it which is why they kept selecting both of them in same squad , now Axar has played enough games in the build up to Wc and will play more

If Hooda can bowl regularly he can be a good floater as he can play spin well..

 

the issue is we dont have a like to like replacement for jadeja.. to replace him we have to sacrifice something and add something.

Looks like he only missed out in 2012 wt20 since he debuted in 2009 and played in every single wt20.. End of an era.. Sir Jaddu will be missed.

Jaddu is old and not getting any younger. Should focus on only tests from here-on.

Damn. His T20I career might be over. The balance he provides and his fielding will be badly missed in the T20 WC.

 

I hope he comes back strongly in ODIs and tests. He is one of our test MVPs and could play an important role in the ODI WC next year.

Needs to play Tests only after 2023 atleast.

Yeah I agree. He has a genuine shot at becoming a test ATG (he's already an Indian great) if he keeps his form.

Hope he recovers in time for our test series vs Australia next year. We need to clean sweep Aus to qualify for the WTC F and we are not doing it without Jadeja.

His fielding will be missed. Rest all boxes are ticked already.

 

Problem will be if this injury stays for 3 months. We have a home test series vs Australia and he is extremely important to us. A century over a period of 4 tests is given from him.

I hope they won't take him half fit to WT20 like they did with Hardik last year.

 

Better to have a replacement
