Because normal is high pace and they are on backfoot.

 

Slower ones work when they are a surprise, not like every 2nd ball. Then batsmen can predict

Conway and Williamson should have put the spinner other than Shadab under pressure much earlier. Their partnership lost it for them. Left too much for too late. 

One thing is sure no batsman was able to time ball properly here. So lets see how NZ ball.

Not too long ago England was hitting these bowlers for 200+ every game by keeping them under the pump all the time

It is due to poor batting by NZ too by KW and Conway.

Our spinners as well as pacers bowl lots of wides and no balls in every t20 game.  Pak hv not conceded a single wide/no ball in this entire inning.

All these pak bowlers are average except Rauf and can be hittable. New Zealand just do not have the hitters like Aus, Eng, Ind, SAF in their ranks. They always rely on their bowling in T20 cricket.

Pak bowling is too good. So difficult to hit their pacers or spinners. Dahani can be attacked but he altered his length too.

None of shaheen, rauf, shadab, naseem, nawaz is average. 
anyone can have a bad day in t20s.

When u bowl one ball at 150 and the next at 125. Batsman are in 2 minds.. Unlike Bhuvi whose slower ball is almost same as normal one 2-3 kps diff.
