In a perfect world, this is my perfect team given the players available. (assuming Harshal gets injured lol) Pant Hitman Kohli SKY Pandya KL Thakur Ashwin/Axar/Chahal Shami Boobi Arshdeep Need to separate the anchors/consolidators here in Hitman,Kohli and KL. KL simply cannot open anymore. R/L combo to open with. 6 bowlers. India must bat first with rain about if they win the toss. Our bowlers will not contain a team. Its only after I checked the weather that I realize its a win toss bat first. Kinda terrifying if we have to chase a small target of a few overs with Hitman, KL and Kohli at 1,2,3. Bangla a chance.

I guess thats why India dont know what to do. Pant solves a two player problem, a left/right combination and allows us to field an extra bowling option and addresses our slow starts in the PP. tweaker 1

Play hooda at seventh, if needed he can roll for one odd over. But if there is a chance of rain 5 fast bowler plus hooda is better than 4 pacers and Akshar / Ash

I presume youre a kid new to Indian Cricket, news flash, Indian players get injured on a regular basis, in particular our bowlers. Thakur will play this WC.
