Disagree. Current indian bowling lineup will struggle to defend 180 on flat tracks . Cue asia cup vs pak and srilanka.

Gulf pitches stats should be excluded from cricketing analysis.. skews too much in favor of chasing teams

Do you think Ind's Asia Cup win over BD in 2018 was because Ind batted 2nd? If BD batted 2nd, would it have won in your opinion?

my point was more about T20s.. ODIs can also get skewed with toss but not as much as T20s.. BD might have won I can't say for a particular match but truth is T20s in Gulf esp Dubai or sharjah? are skewed too much in favor of chasing team

Why do you think t20s are skewed more in favour than ODis? Shouldnt dee be a bigger issue in ODi’s

Only major side that has lost chasing there is none other than Pakistan

Im sire if SA batted first today and scored only 160, Pakistan would have lost today itself Babar Rizwan are their main batsmen like it or not,150-160is their task

If they fall early, things get interesting for opposition

England and new zealand are like 1 & 2 interchangeably. Depending on conditions and whether if its a knockout game in ICC events.

India and australia currently are in the 2nd rung or 3rd and 4th if you can call that. Again depending on whether it is ICC events or bilaterals(depending on conditions)

SA/Pak can break into this top 4 if they sort out their batting with the new talents coming in.

Naah, Pakistan is a mid tier team.

Ofc they will win the occasional match against top teams (while losing the majority) and lose the occasional match against minnows (while winning the majority) cause mid table teams have such variance - see Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh etc. Their performance varies from extremely good to extremely poor.

The top team's performances vary from extremely good to mediocre. That's why you never see them getting upset.

scope for recovery & reversal is more in odis than t20s..

There will rarely be a standout team in T20. There is little time to recover from a freak odd batting or bowling performance which most international players are capable of.

so a Ned can beat SA

Zim can beat India

West Indies - supposedly the best is sitting out already.
