Shouldnt we pick 50 overs players based on vijay hazare, otherwise what's the point of this tournament. Ipl shouldnt be used to pick 50 overs team.

We should pick A teams teams based on domestics and IPL. Equal weightage to both.

Would love to see the current India playing x1 play for their states and how they fair .. if they can’t boss over , then it validates the quality of bowling we have at domestic circuit .

Abdul Samad match winning 66 (62) vs MP today in a high scoring game vs a good bowling attack of Avesh K Sen,  Kumar Kartikeya.

I wish samad was a bit more careful in shot selection. then he could go far, especially if he also improves bowling a bit more

Akash Singh takes bck to bck 5-fers against Baroda and Odisha...impressive.

Sushant Mishra & Tyagi are still waiting for their first chance.

tyagi has always been more highly rated (and rightly so), but I always liked what I saw of akash even from U19 days

Tyagi and Sushant looked class apart

Sushant and Akash both bowled short to terrorize u19 batters, but Sushant looked more threatening

Yes, Akash was quite good, he was underrated because Tyagi and Sushant were exceptional.
I think he did the best thing moving out from Rajasthan, now he can play as a lead pacer and improve...just like Arjun did after moving to Goa.

How come these Mandeep singhs and Manan vohras scoring runs.

Poor quality of bowling attack, also credit to them as they're experienced enough to preserve their wickets against half decent bowlers and bully the poor ones.

he's good, perhaps even nearly on par with sushant (slightly lower) although not near tyagi's level.

my only concern is that the level of cricketers he will be around... if the level is so low, it can breed false sense of complacence

Looks impressive. What is the pace range if you know and height ?

He was bowling 132-138 in 2020 U-19 WC with odd ball hitting 140k..current pace will be difficult to gauge unless we have speed gun, but it seems he has gained pace.
Height wise it's showing 5.8 everywhere, but he looks taller to me (around 5.10) based on his Insta pics.

Agree, and that's where we will be able to see the character of a player....if he has the fire to play for national cap or he'ss just satisfied bullying the domestics (aka Vinay Kumar).
