Stupid logic but this is expected from Sanju PR now.

 

Sanju got his debut on time but he has himself to blame for not cementing his spot when there were two vacant middle order slots in 2019 or forget that even in T20s, we were carrying trashes like Rahane, Dhawan, Manish Pandey etc but don't remember what Samson was doing then.

 

In T20s, I understand the influence of ODI performance helped some of the batters like Dhawan or S Iyer but Sanju definitely should have replaced either Pandey or Rahane from T20s during 2016-18. Look at what SKY did, he came and simply overshadowed rest so much so that he has made his case as the no.1 T20 batsman in the country. Sanju after having put behind by other competitors needed to do the same too but he just couldn't turn things around enough.

Although Sanju fans can  annoy you, i can't pin it on Sanju lol He does need a run. He almost pulled off a great chase against SA by gradually building the innings.

Works because Sanju is a keeper, Rahul is a makeshift keeper. Interchangable if needed as Rahul can be better in the outfield.

Sanju is also excellent in outfield. Either of the two can keep. Rahul, I somehow feel does well with bat also when he keep gloves in ODIs.

Devdutt Padikkal is mallu right? How come he is not having same kind of fan following from Mallus?  If he needs to find a spot in XI he has to  move back to Kerala i suppose :)
