Yes. Absolutely. He is way overrated. Link to comment
Tibarn
His record is great in Oceania and Windies. Otherwise he is an average batsman everywhere else. Link to comment
Vijy
kane is like sanga (albeit not as talented). very smart cookie, who knows how to plunder weak teams, max his resources, boost his avg, etc. nevada and AuxiliA 2 Link to comment

In New Zealand it is great. In Australia, it is boosted by one series 2015-16 where he scored 140 in Brisbane(which was a good knock quality wise) and 165 in Perth(a proper patta where Taylor also got 290 odd). In his recent tour to Australia, he was flop. Vijy 1 Link to comment

Yes but Pakistan Babar need to learn the art of flat pitches bullying from these two in tests. He gets to 60-70 and gets out usually or doesn't contribute in 2nd inning. Link to comment

zen
KW is a competitive player. He is not a Brian Lara or a Steve Waugh but still a very good player. All players will have their pros and cons. KW stood up in the WTC final. nevada 1 Link to comment

It suggests he can play in heavy seaming/swinging conditions, at least against Windies quality bowlers. CricViz data suggest the ball has the most movement(swing+seam) there and England. neel roy and Vijy 2 Link to comment

End of day what matters is that one innings he played against India in wtc in that treacherous pitch 49 of 170 balls. Nz were tottering at 135/5 then 162/6..shami bowling rippers, and Kane came, steadied the innings, built partnerships and took NZ to 249 with a lead of 32 odd runs.. rest is history.. tell you what that match still hurts..
