Nothing wrong, free country. Hope they do well as MLAs and make Haryana wrestling even greater than what it is. We have the potential to churn out 5 medalists in every Olympics edition. Rather have elite sportspersons as MLAs than good for nothing goons and dalals. 

 

Right from day one I am saying that only Sakshi Malik had saaf niyat in this wrestlers' protest thing. Unlike the other two she also didn't force her way into Asian Games by skipping trials, citing the protests as excuse. Not saying what Bajrang, Vinesh did was wrong but Sakshi has higher moral standing IMO.

Players are free to become member of any political party.

They may have decided that all 3 should not seek tickets. If all of them get tickets, the legitimacy of andolan would be totally eroded and people would say all 3 who protested did this for congress ticket.

 

For a big majority I believe it was always a political andolan...the minor for whom posco act could have been slapped already withdrew complaint, she had already once withdrew complaint against someone else before brijbhushan...

Idk but that's his own choice.  His wife is closely associated with Gujju BJP so it was always on the cards.

Tum bas kehene se kuch nahin hota.  The next day after disqualification all the debates were showing chindi ghatbandhn people shouting that Modi got her disqualified

But Brijbhushan is not credible source, even if she cheated by entering 2 weight categories , it was ok in the end as she reached the final. I don’t buy this andolan BS , more so now. Only chindi ghat bandhan workers can believe so

Congress cashed in on a opportunity... There was late but Chargesheet filed on Brijbushan.

Smart play by them to cash in on a free hit.

 

BJP would do the same or even worse.  They did politics on Jawans killed on LoC back when Congress was in power & Congress responded with Operation Ginger but didn't chest thump about its action

Who takes TV debates seriously anymore?  Full of propaganda and stuff.

It was the biggest news for couple of days at least.  Everyone heartbroken & emotional.  

BJ spokesperson's daily tell lies on TV as well... Cannot complain when other side does it but more effectively.

Nobody is defending him. Let law take its course, hang him for all I care. But these wrestlers lost credibility when they manhandled PT Usha a legend, all for what ? A facking MLA seat. From the beginning it was all politics.  Maybe Haryanvis rightfully deserve the federation control , but Hooda is no saint . * (as in durgand) macha rakhi hain with all politics in sports.

Weren't PT Usha and Mary Kom part of a committee set up by BJP where Usha rebuked Vinesh for indiscipline and then all the political circus started & the involvement of opposition was only option left for them.

Not ideal I agree but that's how deep the rot actually is
