Anyone who lives in India would witness how there is nearly overflowing of food and grains in India. Ration in India is super affordable for the common man vs. Pakistan. Who funds these rating agency? Which country they are based at? What is purpose of these ratings? Could it be used as stick in UN? Could it be used as stick in some bilateral negotiations? Hence, I have a different view about all this rating thing. There are few countries which effectively means more than half of world Population. Out of that two nations India & China dont give a damn about the biased ratings of these bodies. Now everyone has declared that China/Russia/Iran/N Korea are Bad Boys, But If India also doesnt gives two hoots about these rating agencies, that it means is Government of more then quarter of population in world do not even recognise these rating agency. You never know, whats in store but there is big risk to these rating agencies if tommorrow a parallel rating agency comes up backed by few Asian countries. dial_100 Posted February 1, 2023 Share Posted February 1, 2023 Here are some parameters that are greatly impacting that rating. Most of these parameters taken out of context a little too far. Most parameters in the category where india does so much better but ranking is greatly affected by these highlighted parameters. There are few more like this. I found only few 1. We receive chronic food aid. (seriously where? who is doing it?) 2. India has a risk of armed conflict that could affect food availability? 3. We have a great food safety program with all parameters ranked 100% but because there is no evidence of funding to this program score is affected significantly. This list goes on. We haven't won a multi nation ODI tournament in nearly a decade. This rankings are designed to keep Indian produtivity down.
