It is just South Asian countries who care about cricket.

Those are still professional athletes so winning matter. Cricket is just not big in those countries like it is in South Asian countries.

I was talking mostly about your average fans.... they're mostly in Pakistan and Bangladesh but we Indians also have our fair share of such people....who will behave fanatically when their team wins and start abusing others. There are more people watching it, More people playing it, More matches held year after Year by varipous leagues. It is true that Football and Rugby are other big sports in Western world but Cricket is atleast number 2 Team Sport in each of those countries
