some of these players are not in the team. looks like a good team, but I would swap shaw with rohit since latter is better on indian tracks.

Too many stupid conditions on picking Indian players, like a maths formula.

 

Axar in team as batsman  and not bowler, cannot be dropped. Kohli in team because of nepotism, therefore cannot be dropped.

 

Kishan cant do any worse.

 

This is a powerful batting lineup. Even Umesh can do some destruction if he bats a few balls.

lyon has even more, I think (asswin took 4 in the match we lost; lyon took 11). our bowling is not the problem - if not ashwin, even sundar could take as many wickets on these pitches. we need batters who score runs. if kuldeep and jaddu (and axar to a much lesser degree) can't do the job of taking wickets, I doubt asswin can.

 

bottom line: ass' performance on these bunsens is subpar. the same is admittedly true for jaddu and axar, but they are better batters. so drop ass and bring in kuldeep. once more, this asswin has flattered to deceive. let's not forget what happened in SA

Too much wrist slitting over one loss on a lottery pitch. Prepare a nomal Indian track with sufficient help for spinners but not excess, back our boys to win the final test. This despite carrying so many passengers. 

 

It was only a matter of time before Rohit plus bottom order would collectively fail with the bat, happened in previous test. And no Pant either....many here are going overboard now, with their pessimism and downplaying of our good players.
