Even he was brutalized by Bairstow

Hopefully Aus has no batsman like Bairstow and if they do, they overlook what Bairstow did. Finally Indian bowlers might have learnt what they did wrong against Bairstow.

Times have changed and things have changed.

Genuine swing bowlers generally fo well. Our side has hit the deck. Siraj is our hope. Even he was brutalized by Bairstow

Mcgrath and Ambrose are classic hit the deck seam bowlers, they have done very  well on this ground. Anderson on other hand has not done very well on this ground.

They have bagful of tricks. McGrath can swing also seam. Check  chennai test in 2001. You can see a banana swing. They had subtle variation and can keep hitting the same spot all day. There are very few in history like them

IMO I don't think Rohit missing is a big deal.Jaiswal is not a bad option.

Ah yes.... now miracle boy Jaiswal will do his thing.

WTC final, England ground, green wicket, Australia opponent, Starc and Cummins bowling..... Enter the Jaiswal!

They are also 6'6" or 6'7" tall.

Never under estimate Indian first timers against Australia. Agarwal at boxing day test, pant, Gill, sundar, Thakur recently Axar.

Jaiswal does not need to be miracle man.He needs to score 20 or 30 which he can do. Since when did Rohit Sharma become a great batsman on a green wicket? No current Indian batsman is irreplaceable.

If it is a green wicket 250 might be par score.

Shami can do very well on this wicket.Siraj should stop trying to get wicket every ball. Both of them tend to leak runs and since there is no run stopper, Aussies can run away from India in one session.

Ishant played that role effectively. India needs a tall seamer

That is why I feel both Ashwin and Jadeja should play. All pacers on this Indian team will leak runs. Is Ashwin a better option than Umesh/Jaidev should be the question.

They might play Jayadev if at all they play an extra fast bowler as he is the tallest bowler we have. He is also left handed seamer. Umesh has a terrible record in England. Thakur looked better than him.
