KL needs to take a serious look at his game. Actually, up until that penultimate over, he had actually done ok. But how he failed to hit a boundary off Shami when he bowled full pace on leg stump with fine leg up in the circle - do you even scoop, bro?

Seriously needs to hit the nets and upskill ...

Scripted?

Governing Council will be pleased…

Not sending in Stoinis after Pooran's wicket is a big red flag. The plan may have been to merely take the game deep but it turned into an upset itself. Ordered plain dosa and got chilli cheese masala dosa instead!

No amount of net practice can make a pressure allergic player better during game time. Shots that flow freely don't come off as the mind is filled with doubt and muscles tighten up.

"KL Rahul is at a loss for words. He says, and this is not verbatim: I don't know how it has happened. It happened too fast. I can't put a finger on where we let the game slip, which was in our pocket. We were quite brilliant with the ball and in the field. 135 is probably par or 10 under par. We used the conditions well. We started pretty well with the bat too. I still can't say what happened. At the end of the day it is just a game, we still have four wins in seven, but this is going to sting for a while. We were well ahead in the game, I wasn't trying to bat really deep, I was still trying to take the bowlers on that I fancy. They bowled three good overs between Noor and Jayant. Probably should have taken a couple more chances. Not an easy wicket for new batters to come in. Set batters need to finish the game. We missed some boundary opportunities in the end. We should have got it done."

You are a fukking loser. It's clear as day!

I have not watched all of the games but wow if that's true. That was a snoozefest

There were many good games but this one takes the cake because of the action in the last few overs. This is not an ideal T20 pitch so the game was played differently.
