3rd innings is often the best time to bat at the Oval. Australia got spooked by the green pitch and bowled first. But batting last could be very tough.

Nah he tried one heave a couple of ball before but got lucky. Should have just tapped it around with Cummins and put away the eventual bad balls. A guy with as solid a defence as him shouldn't be playing those shots.

 He got sucker punched by slower ball. At normal speed he would have connected cleanly.
