Axar and Jadeja should not be playing in the same team either. Both of them are not wicket takers with white ball and neighter of them are big hiiters.

We have Pandya who is not wicket taker also. We will have three players whose bowling and batting are below par.

How can we compete?

Axar is a wicket taker atleast in spin conditions and a big hitter.

We can't play batsman till 7

you need attacking opener like Kishan for flat Indian pitches. just give him freedom to attack in the PP. Rohit and Gill are nto the ideal opening partners.  i would not want to change these two , fit Roko in the middle order.

Rohit is not good in middle order, he has just built a fake perception that he would do better in middle order. His ODI career transformed from awful to awesome thanks to the idea that he should open the batting in this format.

I know we cannot play batsmen till number 7 but if we are saddled with these players who do nothing well. It is hard to win.

People expecting miracles when world cup arrives will be disappointed.

That was in early part. Now he's experienced enough and would offer more solidity than any one.

Moreover Jaiswal can use powerplay better

Its a home WC. Axar will be fine. We have other problems.

I would have Jadeja over Axar. Last match you saw how he got bounced out. There will be bounce even in India,

I really thought SKY would be fine in middle order but he has turned out to be a dud.

This Mukesh Kumar will fool Dravid in a same way that Harshal Patel fooled him by performing in first 8-10 T20 games and then by the time Asia Cup and T20 World Cup games came,it was too late to take decision on him. No wonder he was treated as a tourist who blocked one spot in the Australia tour even though the players in the main XI ( like Axar Patel and Ashwin) were barely performing with bat or bowl in that tournament.

Mukesh Kumar or Arshdeep Singh? Who'd you have in your WC ODI reserves?

Neither. Arshdeep has gotten too much publicity for guy who is not that great.
