yes, he does because of his slog hitting. he has an SR of 111 in ODIs and 142 in T20Is.  even as a batsman alone, there is no one yet who can replace him at 6.  he is also a good fielder.  he will anyway bowl.  is there anyone who can replace him as a batsman alone at 6?

That strike rate is going down every day. Pandya has become more consolidator.he was always a limited stroke player.

 

I have not seen a core player show so little growth after 7 years .

strike rate went down when he played at #4.  At that number, he does not need to do bang bang.  In this team, not many can play innings like he did against England in WT20 SF at that position.  If we get a better player, we can replace him but he bowls and his bowling required and he is not just a run of the mill bowler.
