Matches with 2 tier countries is very important

These matches with WI and Ireland are very important...

 

These kind of matches should continue to happen in future...not just before World cups...

 

It gives opportunity for our A and B teams showcase their talents...

 

Other countries India should play t20's regularly are Bangladesh, srilanka, Zimbabwe and may be Afghanistan (with A and B teams). Strictly India should not play our senior players on these teams (Virat, Rohit, fit bumrah) and should not play tried and tested players like rahul, mayank, shardul, jadeja..

 

In other words, these tours should be used only for grooming young players...

 

I liked Rinku and gaekwad in this current match

I'd like to see us playing Netherlands & Scotland more. 

Irish are not better than these teams. 

 

Scotland beat them in Europe qualifiers & qualified as table toppers for next WT20..  Ire finished second. 

 

Ned are qualified to 50 over WC & automatic qualification to next WT20 via beating SA in last WT20.

They should do the same with bowling too once Bumrah has found his rhythm. He should be selective going forward like Pat Cummins. Harshit Rana, Hangerkekar, Madhval kind of guys should be tried here and there.

T20 games are lotteries - good teams can easily be defeated by crap teams with one or 2 players coming to the party for a handful of overs.

There is a big difference between Bumrah / Prasidh and Mukesh / Hardik the bowler.

agree with everything except Rituraj.. Dhoni creates culture/mindset that helps csk win but those guys hurt India a lot with their style of play. Rituraj/Dube were distinctly different ( conservative/ even selfish) in attitude while others just kept on attacking - which is what is needed during knockouts
