You guys were ahead by 10+ years. unfortunately for your military chose to go over the atmi taakte and missile technology. Civilian society needs to be involved for any science and technology advancement. Yes, sorry I mixed 2 battles. Panton tanks were destroyed in battle of asal uttar in 1965 (when Abdul Hamid martyred). Longewala happened in 1971 when under Kuldip Singh's command we engaged a newer version of US tanks till dawn after which Airforce finished the work. In both cases Jonga jeeps played a bigger role.
